In 1984,
the dream took root in Pennsylvania with a new business wholly owned
and
managed by Joe Steinbach - World Timber Corp. He operated a sawmill and
developed a sales program for musical instrument makers. Business was
prosperous
and he leased a warehouse to store the kiln dried woods. After years of
toil and tenacity, Joe finally decided to look for land to purchase and
in 1997 found exactly what he wanted in North Carolina. He expanded his
business to include many more exotic woods. He now owns a 5 1/2-acre
lot
with a 5,000 and a 1,500 square foot warehouse plus a 1,500 square foot
office and 3 dry kilns -- a 4th. is under construction (March, 2005). |
